Canada intends to buy Saab early warning aircraft, says Carney

OTTAWA, May 27 (Reuters) - Canada has entered into negotiations to buy a fleet of GlobalEye early warning aircraft from Sweden's Saab, Prime Minister Mark Carney told reporters on Wednesday.
The GlobalEye is based on Bombardier's Global 6500 jet. Boeing's E-7 Wedgetail plane had also been in contention.
